Mama Lola did not start in a kitchen.
It started when we became parents and understood how important what we put on the table is.
We looked for clean food — without additives, without preservatives, with real taste. And we realized that the answer had always been at home, in Negrași: good soil, honest work, and simple recipes, made with patience.
It all starts from the ground up
Here, we laid the foundation for an orchard, started cultivating vegetables, and began cooking exactly as we learned from our family: over a wood fire, at leisure, with clean ingredients. Everything we do stems from respect for the land, for people, and for authentic taste.
Mama Lola, the heart of our story
At the heart of the story is Mama Lola — Niculina Mozăceanu, a kindergarten and primary school teacher in the village, the person who raised generations of children with care and kindness. The brand name is a tribute to her and to my mother, Daniela (photo), who returned to the village to build this project together.
From each jar, 1 leu goes to the children in the village.
Because Mother Lola was, first and foremost, about children and education, and the village needs opportunities, not just memories.
And because we believe that food prepared with care can do good beyond the meal — in the community, in the future, in the lives of the little ones.
